More tea, please
Chances are you are well familiar with the benefits of green tea. But have you heard about rooibos? Also known as red tea, rooibos tea has been called the “miracle tea” due to its healing and anti-aging properties. Grown in South Africa and containing 50 times the level of antioxidants of green tea, it helps destroy free radicals that attack and damage healthy cells, according to the African Tea Co. It’s rich in polyphenols and it has plenty of healthy minerals, says Dr. Ray Sahelian, whose Web site (www.raysahelian.com/rooibos.html) lists even more information about rooibos. And, it’s good for skin and hair, which is why it’s a key ingredient in many products in the Innersense Organic Beauty line. These products include Pure Essential Hair Bath, Color Awakening Hair Bath, Pure Inspiration Daily Conditioner, Color Radiance Daily Conditioner, Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner, Blissful Body Butter, and Smooth Embrace Body Lotion (my personal favorite). These products range in price from $22-$25; they and other Innersense products can be found at innersensebeauty.com.
